A frame that moves with the world
Avenn’s story starts in Brittany, on a stormy evening. Staring at a painting of the Belem above the fireplace, a thought emerged: what if the image changed with the weather? When the sea swells: foam, luffing sails, wind that stings. And as hours pass, calm returns — the image softens. From that vision, Avenn was born.
Our story
Avenn was born from a simple frustration: wall art is static, costly to renew, and rarely tailored to each space.
With large-format e-paper, we imagined a connected frame able to display countless artworks with a paper-like, natural finish — and near-zero power once the image is set. The goal: let the walls converse with what we live, without eye strain.
A frame that follows real life
First scenario: a Belem that changes with the weather. In a storm: foam, luffing sails, swell. Then, as the day clears, light returns — the image calms down.
The idea scales naturally: scenes by time of day, pop-up exhibitions, restaurant menus, event announcements, bespoke pieces for a host. As long as the visual is JPG/PNG, Avenn displays it with a matte, elegant finish.
Our values
Living experience
Visuals that evolve with the place: weather, time, events, custom scenarios.
Simplicity
An effortless frame, driven by a clear app (playlists, scheduling, local casting).
Sustainability
E-paper tech: ultra-low power, stable images with no backlight, readable in bright light.
Aesthetic rigor
A premium, non-glossy rendering that respects the work, the space, and the gaze.
Technology serving art
E-paper reflects ambient light like paper: no backlight, no glare.
- Matte, natural look — comfortable for hours.
- Stable image — near-zero power once displayed.
- Readable in bright light — ideal for hospitality & dining.
- Simple compatibility — JPG/PNG: menus, activities, bespoke artworks.
Craft-minded, with a clear vision
Avenn is led solo, with carefully chosen technical and artistic partners. The ambition: a discreet, reliable object in service of emotion and place identity.
Each installation is a small scenography: use case, light, viewing distance, content. Have an idea? I’ll stage it.
From workshop to hotel lobby
Early prototypes were built and tested iteratively: calibration, deep blacks, image formats, remote control. Today, the system is stable and easy to deploy.
Whether for a lobby, a suite, a spa, or a restaurant, Avenn brings a living, elegant presence that elevates your space without overwhelming it.
